Mission Statement
Winnfield Senior High Library was established to support the curriculum and serves as the "hub" of intellectual activity at the school. The library exists to implement, enrich, and support the educational program of the school through Internet access as well as a wide variety of print and non-print materials. Therefore, it is the library's mission to ensure that all students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
 
 
About the Librarian/Media Specialist
   
    My name is Paula Price and I am the school librarian/media specialist at Winnfield Senior High School. I am also serving as the Toy Tiger Sponsor. This is my first year here!
    I have a BA from Louisiana College in Elementary Education and I received my School Librarian certification from Louisiana Tech University. This is my second year as a library media specialist.
    I was the librarian/media specialist at Dodson High School (PreK-12) last year. I taught first grade in Winn Parish for 13 years at Winnfield Primary School. The freshmen this year are some of the last first graders I taught!
