Setting up Outlook Express:

These instructions and screenshots are from Outlook Express 6. If you are not using version 6, the instructions and/or screenshots may vary slightly.

1. Select Accounts from the Tools menu.
2. Remove any existing accounts you are not using by selecting the account and clicking the Remove button.
3. Click the Add button and choose Mail to start the Internet Connection wizard. Type in your name as you wish it to appear to others.
4. Enter your e-mail address.

i.e. Username@winnpsb.org

5. Enter your incoming and outgoing mail servers. (**Make sure you have you incoming server is a POP3 server and that both in and out servers are the same)

Winn Parish School Board mail servers are: mail.winnpsb.org

(our new mail server is: mail2.winnpsb.org)

6. Enter your username and password.

 Entering the password is optional.  If you don't enter a password and leave the 'Remember password' box un-checked, you will be prompted to enter a password every time you check your email.

7. Click Finish.
